1. Between Sizes: If you find your measurements fall between two sizes, it's generally a good idea to opt for the larger size. This ensures a more comfortable fit.

2. Specific Designs: The right size may depend on the design.

   • For pieces that are fitted at the top and looser at the bottom, base your choice on your upper body size.
   • For flare skirts, focus on your waist measurements.
   • For more formfitting skirts, your hip measurements are the key.
   • Co-ords with trousers have an elastic waistband at the back. Choose these based on your hip size for the perfect fit.
   • Prioritise for Infinity designs hip and waist measurements, in that order. The straps will be the same for every size, so no need to worry about the top sizes.
   • Dress sizes vary with design:
     • For maxi and A-line dresses, choose based on your upper body size.
     • For bodycon dresses, select according to your hip size.

3. Material Considerations: Keep in mind that African wax fabric is 100% cotton and does not stretch. This is important for fit and comfort, especially since sizes are fixed.

4. Returns Policy: We understand that online shopping isn't always easy. If your item doesn't fit as expected, you can return it within 14 days. To make this process as hassle-free as possible, we offer free returns for UK customers.

Processing Time:

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 working days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped. 

If there's a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there's a significant delay, we will contact you via email.

Please also note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, courier delays, or other factors beyond our control.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

• Standard Shipping: Our standard shipping rate is £4.99 for orders within the UK. Orders will be delivered within 3-5 business days after processing.

• Express Shipping: Express shipping is available for a flat rate of £9.99 and orders are delivered within 1-2 business days after processing.

• Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping for orders over £50 within the UK.

International Shipping:

In addition to shipping within the United Kingdom, River & Mara is pleased to offer international shipping to customers worldwide. International shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination and will be calculated at checkout. 

Customs, Duties and Taxes: 

River & Mara is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Delivery Tracking:

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your order by clicking the link provided in the email or by visiting the courier's website and entering your tracking number.

Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@riverandmara.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
